Architecture hardware and software

Blue Count Manager is a software and usually run in a physical or virtualized server. A server can manage all the queue management of a entire airport.

Installation

The server can be installed in any technical room. It has to be able to access the camera trough the network.

The server will be installed like the Queue Management B-Queue software and in the same network. And in the same network as the B-Top people counter if used with B-Top.

The software contains its own operating system based on linux so no additional license are needed.

Our solution are well known for their robustness, and can run many year without exterior actions.

The maintenance is mostly done to monitor the changes on site due to changes on the area.

The system consists of hardware and software parts:

  • the hardware used is standard and the MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) is estimated at 100 000 hours (more than 11 years) for the CCTV camera and 50 000 hours (around 5 years) for the servers.
  • the software is based on linux operating system and is really robust and secured.

Local and remote support

The maintenance of our solution can be done locally and remotely. The level 1 and 2 maintenance (hardware and basic software) is usually done on site by our trained partners.

For others cases the remote internet access allow us to react quickly in our installation all over the world.

IT integration

Easy Installation

Our solutions are designed to be integrated into IT infrastructure. Dozens of successful installations in the airport and railway stations confirm this. The software provided included its own operating system based on Ubuntu (linux OS) and can be installed in most of the existing servers and PC.

Regular updates

Standard releases every six months help you stay up-to-date with the very latest hardware and software updates.

Virtualization

Simplify server management with virtualization and reduce the impact of the servers installation. Blue Eye Video solution are compliant with most of the virtualization solutions: VMWare vSphere® or Oracle VirtualBox®.

External interface

Different external interfaces are provide to extract the data from the server. Standard HTTP protocols are used.

Theses protocols are standard and easy to integrate in your environment.

Others protocols are available like XML for real time and historical interface.
